Established by Martin Scorsese in 2007, the World Cinema Project expands the horizons of moviegoers everywhere. Второй том значительно меньше первого по объему; собственно «серий», которых в первом томе содержится четырнадцать, здесь представлено четыре. Если вспомним, что в первом томе написано о великом открытии электромагнитной индукции, о знаменитых двух законах электрохимического разложения, об открытии существования диэлектрической постоянной, то сравнение окажется не в пользу второго тома. Но интерес последнего чрезвычайно возрастает от того, что Фарадей включил в него другие свои статьи по электричеству, не доложенные в Королевском обществе и напечатанные не в «Philosophical Transactions». В этих работах мы встречаем материал очень крупного исторического и научного значения.

Three Dog Night is an American rock band. They formed in 1968 with a line-up consisting of Danny Hutton, Cory Wells and Chuck Negron. The three lead singers were backed by Jimmy Greenspoon (organ), Joe Schermie (bass), Mike Allsup (guitar) and Floyd Sneed (drums). The band registered 21 Billboard Top 40 hits (with three hitting number one) between 1969 and 1975.

About three women who need a cash infusion Jane (Saint James) is divorced and financially pressed to raise her children in the manner to which they were accustomed. Bolt, a British linguist, develops a universal language, so he's a sudden sensation and receives a Nobel prize. Japanese sixties comedy featuring a cunning female jewel thief named Black Lizard who tries to kidnap Sanaye, a wealthy jeweler's beautiful daughter as part of a plot to steal the jeweler's expensive "Star of Egypt" diamond. To thwart the planned kidnapping, the jeweler hires Japan's number one detective, the brilliant Akechi. This sets off a dual between Black Lizard and Akechi as each tries to outwit the other. In the process, the two adversaries develop a mutual respect and affection for each other. Despite Akechi's efforts, Black Lizard and her crew are able to kidnap Sanaye and gain possession of the "Star of Egypt". Black Lizard takes Sanaye to her secret lair on a remote island which is populated by an eerie collection of naked human dolls. There Black Lizard plans to preserve Sanaye's beauty forever by turning her into one of her dolls. As Sanaye's doom quickly approaches, it is up to Akechi to save the day.

When he dies after having one of his trysts, he leaves her millions of dollars but in trust, and also he has left instructions that if his wife gets involved with someone that they should be warned off. Maguire's a man who did a job for Frank but was not paid for it so he goes to Karen hoping to collect what Frank owes him. When they meet there's an attraction. And they also have to deal with Roland the man who's been assigned to keep all men away from Karen but when he learns what she has, he tries to capitalize on it.

Robert Altman, the director responsible for M*A*S*H, came up with another acronymic title for his 1979 comedy H.E.A.L.T.H The letter stand for Happiness, Energy And Longevity Through Health--the name given a health-food convention at a Florida luxury hotel. In the tradition of his earlier Nashville and A Wedding, Altman utilizes the hotel as a gathering place for numerous interrelated, interconnecting plot threads. The unifying theme is a satire of corrupt politics, a la Watergate. Playing the unflappable hotel manager.
